Corporate Payroll & Benefits Specialist

Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to serve as the corporate payroll & benefits processor, while observing strict confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Includes the following. Other duties may apply or be assigned.
Facilitates bi-weekly payroll transmittal in payroll system
Inputs benefit deductions and garnishments
Keys-in payroll and benefits-related spreadsheets
Performs all FSA calculations and systems updates
Processes and inputs child support and garnishment information
Processes, validates and prepares benefits invoices
Reports temp employee time on a weekly basis to the corresponding agencies
Reports weekly hours Data Analyst for weekly KPI purposes
Streamlines payroll processes and trains other users on reporting and analytics
Processes special bonuses
Processes all terminations and benefits end dates in the payroll and benefit systems.
Inputs all leave of absences into payroll and benefit systems
Keys-in all new hire info into the benefit carrier system
Conducts all benefits enrollments and changes
Competencies
Language Skills- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reporting, billing, cost analysis data, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills- Ability to work with complex mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

High school diploma and 3-5 years of payroll & accounts payable experience in addition to the following.
Computer skills & office machine experience.
Highly skilled using Excel and Word
ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
