Sales & Marketing Administration Manager

Location: Nashville, NC (Carolina Egg Company, LLC)

Position Summary

Working with the VP of Sales & Marketing, sales managers & brokers to facilitate strategic relationships with existing customers as well as potential new customers. Managing all aspects of the sales process including new customer set up, pricing, distribution, trade spend and promotional forecasting. Ensuring the customers have the information they need to do business with us and ensure Customer Service have what they need to provide superior service to the customer.

Job Duties

  • Managing Customer Service team

  • New item setup including artwork, UPC, etc.

  • Responsible for keeping items up to date in GDSN/GS1 (1WorldSync) including GS1 Canada

  • Managing information required for forecasting.

  • Prepares routine and ad hoc analytic reports for management to assist in the analysis of customer performance.

  • Coordinates pricing, rebilling, and deliveries with assigned customers.

  • Maintains distribution and pricing files for all customer’s and trading partners.

  • Manages onboarding of all new customers

  • Responsible for EDI integration and upkeep into ERP system and adding trading partners as needed with 3 rd party provider.

  • Manages and maintains assigned customer sales portals.

  • Prepares customer credit notes as defined in company SOP.

  • Oversee deduction management with sales & broker teams coordinating with AR.

  • Complete End of period reporting for AR

  • Month end reporting broker commissions

  • Project lead for all customer packaging & label design needs

  • Working with syndicated data (IRI) to evaluate promotional spending ROI.

  • Continued process improvement

 Experience/Education

  •  B.S. in Accounting/Finance (preferred)

And/or

  •  Preferred: Minimum three years of experience in Accounting or Finance with AR/AP

Other Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership as part of a cross-functional team in a positive and collaborative manner.

  • Proven ability to function with a strong and seasoned staff.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel/PP/Word)

  • High level of proficiency in EDI/ERP systems.

  • Monitor all activities and ensure compliance to all corporate standards.

  • Proven customer support experience

  • Customer is #1 mentality/and ability to adapt/respond to different types of situations.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

Must possess the ability to work in an agricultural environment, indoors, outdoors, office, warehouse, processing, and farm production areas each varying in temperature, odor, and other environment specific atmospheres.
